How is usage data metered?

We use a credit-based system to measure usage across all AI tools on the platform. Each action you take — such as generating an image, removing a background, or analyzing text — consumes a set number of credits based on complexity, size, and features used.

Your account includes a monthly or prepaid credit balance. Credits are deducted in real time as you use services such as:

📆 Billing Cycle and Reset

Monthly plans: Credits reset at the end of each billing period (e.g., monthly)
Prepaid plans: Credits roll over until used (no expiration)

Go to your Dashboard
Click on Usage Data
View:
- Credit consumption
- Features used
- Timestamps of recent activity
- Overages (if any — coming soon)

You can also download a usage JSON for planning or reporting purposes.

🚨 What Happens If I Run Out of Credits?

Paid Plan (monthly)	Currently, there is a hard limit — no overage, no unwanted costs. Coming soon: It will be possible for users to enable auto top-up.

A: Yes. You can upgrade to a higher plan to increase your credit limit. If you're already on the highest plan, contact sales to discuss a customized solution.

Q: Is usage tracked differently via the API?

A: No — API usage is metered the same way as in the web interface.
